Kpopconcerts.com is an online news outlet dedicated to bridging the gap between international fans and their favorite Korean artists through exclusive event coverage, interviews, and content.
In collaboration with JYP Entertainment, Kpopconcerts.com created "Digicam Diaries" to introduce the members of the recently debuted boy group KickFlip to new audiences during the iconic Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Channelling the group's youthful, Gen-Z energy, I photographed the group with an old digital camera, which is rising in popularity among youth worldwide, a demographic that KickFlip embodies. With a bright color palette and whimsical shapes, these static and animated graphics perfectly captured the group's playful, energetic personas. Photographed and edited by me.
This collaboration with JYP Entertainment also included creating a "Fit Check" video that showed off the members' outfits for their debut Lollapalooza set, as well as their silly personalities for fans! Filmed and edited by me.
