To demonstrate Boombox’s concept, I redesigned Doja Cat’s Planet Her album to fit the K-pop album mold. Album deliverables include a poster, lyric passport, photo cards, travel brochure, photo book, and space travel tickets. Taking inspiration from Doja Cat’s bright personality and the mysteries of space, I created a new, more abstract version of the album art and concept. Other inspiration came from retro futurism art, as well as a more editorial influence within the photo book. The whole design system is brought together through a vibrant color palette, quirky space illustrations, and futuristic but friendly type to demonstrate the expansive quality of a Boombox product.
